I apologize for being MIA these past weeks but I’ve been busy, and well lazy. I finally got off my lazy behind and made this crochet wig. Nobody tells you how much work it takes, I mean you would think it is pretty easy when you watch a 15-minute clip on YouTube but it takes a really long time and a good deal of patience. 

What You’ll Need

Marley hair (or any bulk hair of your choice really)

Latch hook or big bobby pins

Mannequin head

Wig nets

Bendy rollers

Hot water

DIY: Marley Faux Locs

Hey Guys!
After getting a lot of nice compliments on my crochet braids, I decided to push myself a bit further and when a friend mentioned faux locs, I was like why not? However, my eagerness and enthusiasm made me overlook some important things; like time! With our combined efforts, it took us over 8 hours to finish this hair! For someone like me, that is a lot of time to spend and it was exhausting. In the future, I’d rather do this over the weekend and take my time with it.

DIY: Crochet Extensions With Kinky Hair

Hey Guys!
I’ve been itching to put my hair away in a protective style and I was bent on doing the crochet thing with kinky hair. I called Tunmise Naturals Salon and unfortunately the one person who could get it done was out of the country. However, I’d seen a few videos before on doing the crochet extensions and decided to hop out of my comfortable lazy bubble and actually try my hands at it. It was surprisingly easy to do and took me just 3 hours.
