I have enough oils to start an apothecary.

I didn’t realize I had many different oils until I was clearing out my product drawer while moving earlier this year. The Rosehip oil and Argan oil are my favorites but we’ll be talking about the Rosehip oil from one of my favorite Nigerian brands.
Price: 5800 Naira
Product Claim: “Helps prevent premature aging, fades acne scars, wrinkles and fine lines. Protects the skin from sun damage, high in anti-oxidants and fatty acids. Deeply conditions and moisturizes hair, reduce frizz, encourages hair growth”
I had a little chat with the owner of this brand and I complained about my oily face, I mean, on a good day, you could extract the oil from my face and use it to fry golden brown dodo, if you’re into that sort of thing. She recommended the Rosehip oil and in my head, I was like, “hold up, how would an oil help my already oily face?” But because I trust her and she’s a living well of knowledge when it comes to organic skin care, I went for it. I included it in my nighttime routine as a facial oil and within two weeks I started noticing changes, nobody was pointing out my oily nose anymore and I wasn’t reaching out for blotting papers and tissues like before. The one thing I do not like about this oil is that it stains yellow, so I use it an hour before my bedtime, that way my skin has enough time to absorb the oil and let it do it’s work then I blot out the extra oil just before going to bed to avoid staining my pillowcases.
